Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli and Anushka Shetty have come in the support of a recent initiative, My Child Health, launched by Choice Foundation.
On this occasion, SS Rajamouli who shared his own experience with his son who was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), said, “We had to change his schools frequently as the management of each institute thought that he was suffering from a mental disorder.” Rajamouli added, “If some of the issues aren’t addressed at a young age, they might lead to more complications in future. I whole heartedly appreciate and support Dr Satish Ghanta for this initiative.”
Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty said, “Even when we address obesity, we focus on the eating habits and activity of a child, nobody talks about the stress and emotional trouble the children go through because of it.”
Rajamouli shared a video on his Twitter and captioned it, “Preventive comprehensive health screening of children is neglected but very crucial aspect of a healthy child. Happy that @GhantaDr through his @choicefndn has taken up this cause. Wishing him the very best in this initiative!”
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects children and can continue into adulthood. ADHD is the most commonly diagnosed mental disorder of children. Children who suffer from ADHD may be hyperactive and unable control their impulses. Or they may have trouble paying attention.
Apart from SS Rajamouli and Anushka Shetty, the initiative My Child health has also been supported by Natural Star Nani, and Lakshmi Manchu. They stressed on the importance of comprehensive health screening of children.

Meanwhile Rajamouli is currently busy in the pre- production work of his upcoming directorial venture #RRR in which Jr NTR and Ram Charan will play the lead role. The sources say that Rajamouli is planning to wrap up the entire shoot in one year. On the otherside, Anushka Shetty was last seen in woman centric movie Bhaagamathie. It is heard that recently Anushka Shetty’s family performed special pooja for the purpose of her wedding.
