Ram Charan starrer village based drama Rangasthalam has completed its 50 days run in various theaters and is still running successfully to packed houses in several theaters across both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Rangasthalam is directed by creative and talented film maker Sukumar and produced by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Sankar and C. V. Mohan underthe banner of Mythri Movies Makers. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music of Rangasthalam.

Rangastalam has grossed Rs 200 Cr Gross at Worldwide Box-office. Samantha Akkineni played the love interest of Ram Charan in Ranasthalam. Apart from the lead pair, the film has others stars like Jagapthai Babu, Aadhi Pinisetty, Prakash Raju, Anausya Bharadwaj, Rohini , Naresh and others in supporting role.
Rangasthalam, a revenge-based drama set in the 1980, is the second movie which has grossed Rs 200 Cr after SS Rajamouli’s historic and war drama Baahubali. Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam has also occupied third place at USA Box Office after Baahubali franchise. When it comes to non-baahubali record, Rangasthalam is the fastest film to join $3 million mark at USA Box office. Rangastalam is the highest collected movie of the Ram Charan career.
The summer of 2018 will be remembered as one of the best years for Telugu films as the industry delivered four back-to-back blockbusters- Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu, Naa Peru Surya and Mahanati.
On the otherside, currently Ram Charan is busy in the shoot of his next upcoming movie, which is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of mass specialist Boyapati Srinu. After wrapping the shoot of Boyapati’s film Ram Charan is expected to join the sets of SS Rajamouli’ #RRR in which he will share the screen space with Young Tiger Jr.NTR.
