Mahanati – the biopic of legendary South Indian actress Savitri, has been receiving glowing reviews from the who’s who of the Telugu film industry. Keerthy Suresh is playing the titular role of Mahanati aka Savitri whereas Dulquer Salmaan is essaying Gemini Ganesan, the husband of Savitri, in Mahanati.

Mahanati charts the journey of legendary actress Savitri from her childhood to fame, and later her consequent downfall and death. Samantha Akkineni, Vijay Deverakonda, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Krish, Shalini Pandey and others plays crucial roles in this film Mahanati.
On the other side, Ram Charan was last seen in Sukumar’s directorial venture Rangasthalam – a village based drama, which has turned out blockbuster at the box office. This is the first time Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni shared the screen space. Currently Ram Charan is busy in his upcoming untitled film RC12, which is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of Boyapati Srinu. It is produced by D.V.V. Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainments LLP banner. Prashanth and Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi have been roped in to play the important role.
