Every year, Ram Charan’s wife Upasana and her mother perform Bathukamma along with the ‘lovely’ young girls from Balika Nilayam, an orphanage, which is  running by Upasana’s grandmother.

Bathukamma is a floral festival celebrated by the women of Telangana and some parts of Andhra Pradesg. Bathukamma’ means ‘Mother Goddess come Alive’ and Goddess Maha Gauri-‘Life Giver’ is worshipped in the form of Bathukamma – the patron goddess of womanhood, Gauri Devi.

On the works side, Ram Charan was last seen in Rangasthalam, a village based drama, which was directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Samantha Akkineni played the love interest of Ram Charan whereas Anasuya Bharadwaj and Jagapathi Babu played the supporting roles. The movie was turned out blockbuster at the box office and currently Ram Charan is romancing with Kiara Advani in Boyapati Srinu’s directorial venture in which Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is playing the main antagonist. As it is Boyapti Srinu’s film, the makers are expecting high voltage action sequences.
