The Hyderabad Central Crime Station (CCS) police grilled film maker Ram Gopal Varma for 3 hours and 21 minute on Saturday in a case of obscenity booked against him for his web Video ‘God, Sex and Truth’ starring American porn actress Mia Malkova. Varma also faces the charge of insulting the modesty of a woman activist during a TV debate on the film. After questioning, police seized RGV’s phone and laptop.
Hyderabad police have also seized the passport of RGV and they found that his passport does not carry any stamping of his travel to Europe. He said to the police that he did not direct or produce the movie. His assistants directed the movie while he gave them instructions through the live video. He claimed that the movie was shot in Poland and the United Kingdom.
Inside sources say Ram Gopal Varma shot the film in India.
When he was asked about some objectionable pictures in which he was seen with Mia Malkova, he said that the photographs were taken when she was shooting for another movie. Varma also said that he never used the word porn for his movie ‘God, Sex and Truth’.
After coming out of the police station, once again RGV tweeted against Jana Sena President and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan in his own style.
