Rana Daagubati is playing to play a mythological character of Hiranyakasyapa in an upcoming movie titled Hiranyakashyapa, which will be helmed by none other than Rudhramadevi fame director Gunasekhar and it will be bankrolled by Suresh Babu. Currently the team is busy in pre-production work and the regular shoot is expected to commence from the next year. The art work has been already started. The sources close to the team say that Hiranyakashyapa will be made on the lavish budget of Rs 180 Cr. The top producer is taking care of this upcoming mythological drama. Recently during the media interaction, Suresh Babu opened up about this upcoming project Hiranyakashyapa and said, “It is not an easy task to make a movie on Hiranyakashyapa because everybody knows about him and there is already old classic Bhakta Prahlada. But we have grand plan for Hiranyakashyapa. We are planning bigger visuals for this film. We also need to erect big sets for the film to start the shoot. Earlier we planned to shoot the major part of Hiranyakashyapa in London Studio but later we dropped the idea. Rana Daggubati has already started to work on this project. We plan grand plan to release the movie in multiple languages.”
