Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni starrer recently released village based drama Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar has collected Rs 80.3 Cr shares at the box office of both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana after the successful run of 19 days.
Rangasthalam has turned out to be the blockbuster hit of first quarter in 2018. Looks like audiences will remember Ram Charan as Chitti Babu for a long time. Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Aadhi Pinisetty, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu and Anasuya Bharadwaj in key roles.
Till date, many films such as Nithiin and Megha Akash starrer Chal Mohan Ranga and Nani’s Krishnarjuna Yuddham, were released in theatres but failed to affect Rangasthalam at the box office. This week Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu is gearing up for grand release on 20th April. Let’s wait and watch if Mahesh’s Bharat Ane Nenu will be able to break Rangasthalam collection.
