Simmba is remake of Telugu movie Temper, directed by Puri Janannadh, in which Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal played the lead roles. Its Hindi version Simmba is being helmed by Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh is playing a police inspector Sangram Bhalerao..
Coming in the pic Padmaavat star Ranveer Singh is seen standing with a group of Policeman. He sports a dark blue shirt with a pair of dark grey trousers. Ranveer Singh also wore aviator glasses and sports a moustache. His neatly combed oiled hair style is giving a perfect cop look. His appearance is similar to Ajay Devgn’s cop based drama Singham. Interestingly, Ajay Devgn is also the part of Simmba and he will be seen in guest appearance. Simmba revolves around a corrupt police officer who takes on a local goon.
Sara Ali Khan is on the board to play the love interest of Ranveer Singh in this film. Currently Sara Ali is busy in the shoot of Kedarnath. She is simultaneously shooting for Simmba as well as Kedarnath. This is the first time when Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar are working together for Simmba.

Simmba is scheduled to hit the theaters on 28th December 2018. On the otherside, Ranveer Singh has already wrapped up the shoot of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy which is arriving at the theaters on 14th February 2019, on the occasion of Valentine day.
