Ravi Teja turns director for Nandamuri Hero?

Ravi Teja turns director for Nandamuri Hero?Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Nandamuri Kalyanram are going to work together for an upcoming untitled project. It is heard that Ravi Teja has prepared a story and now he is getting ready to direct it. The upcoming film will mark his directorial debut. Ravi Teja has given a narration to Kalyan Ram and as Nandamuri hero is very impressed, he has decided to produce it under NTR Arts Banner.  Interestingly, earlier this month, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram hit the jackpot when 118, directed by cinematographer turned director KV Guhan, which opened to a good response at the box office and received rave reviews from critics. Working with Kalyan Ram might prove to be a smart move on Ravi Teja’s part.

Kalyan Ram and Ravi Teja are very close together and earlier both have worked together for Kick 2.  Though Kalyan Ram’ production venture Kick 2 was  bombed at the box office, but their bonding strengthened.

Meanwhile, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is working on his next film Disco Raja which features him in a new avatar. Disco Raja is being directed by VI Anand, has three heroines opposite the star. Ravi Teja  is also getting ready to start the work for his next upcoming movie, the remake of Tamil movie Theri, which has been titled as Kanakadurga. Ravi Teja will play the role of a strict police officer. The film’s shoot will start shortly. Mythri Movie Makers is producing it.

Ravi Teja was last seen in Srinu Vaitla’s Amar Akbar Anthony, in which he shared the screen space with Goa beauty Ileana D Cruz, but unfortunately the movie was turned out  total disaster.

 On the other side, Kalyan Ram has collaborated with debutant Mallidi Vashista for an upcoming project and the makers are considering the title Ashwathama. It will be bankrolled under NTR Arts Banner.
