Trivikram Srinivas has once again proved his stamina at the box office by delivering his directorial venture ‘A..Aa’ starring Nithin, Samantha and Anupama Parameswaran. The movie has hit the theaters today in a very grand manner. It is the first time when Nithin teamed up with Trivikram Srinivas whereas the combo of Samantha and Trivikram has delivered two blockbuster movies Pawan Kalyan starrer “Attharintiki Dhaaredhi” and Allu Arjun for S/o Satyamurthy. It is third time when both Trivikram and Samantha teamed up for this romantic saga that highlights family values. Let’s see the story line.
Story Line: Anasuya (Samantha) is the rich daughter of Ramalingam (Naresh) and Mahalakshmi’s (Nadhiya). Mahalakshmi is the boss of the family and the life of Samantha is dominated by her mother whereas she is the loving dady’s daughter. She plans for a vacation to village and meets Anand Vihari (Nithin) in train. Anand runs a food business in village. Anand Vihari happens to be Anasuya’s cousin (Atha’s son) but both the families are not in good terms . Both Anasuya and Anand reach village and Anasuya goes to Anand’s house for staying 10 days and falls in love. Both meet Nagavalli (Anupama Parameswaran), who is a daughter of Pallam Venkanna (Rao Ramesh). Anand is already engaged to Nagavalli. What exactly happened between the families of Anand and Anasuya? How Nithin will reunite both families? With whom Anand will tie knot? To get these answers, one should watch the movie on silver screen.
Performance: Actor Nithin has done fantastic job in the role of Anand Vihari and actress Samantha is terrific as Anasuya Ramalinga. She steals the show of the movie with her wonderful performance. Her cute look and smile grabbed several eyeballs. She carried out her role with full earnestness. The major highlights of the movie is the chemistry between Nithin and Samantha. Premam beauty, Anupama Parameswaran performed well and her jealousy angle with Samantha attracted the audiences. She dubbed the movie in her own voice. Nadiya has done great job in the role of rich mother. Jayaprakash in the role of father of Nithiin, justified with his role. Praveen, Ajay and the supporting cast managed to tickle the funny bones with great ease.
Technical: The cinematography and camera works, handled by Natarajan and team, are the main asset of the movie as it has breath taking visuals. He showed village’s scenic location in colourful way. The production value is top notch. The dialogues are superb and the screenplay is good. The second half is little bit slowly and the entertainment level goes down as the movie moves toward the end. Editing is ok but by chopping few dragged scenes, it could be more better. The songs are good and pictureized well. The background music, scored by Mickey J Meyer is good and foot tapping. Action Choreography is nice. The way of dialogue delivery by Nithin and Nadhiya are catchy and it received applause at several places by the audiences. The first half is good entertainer with songs whereas the second half is slow at certain places. The climax and pre-climax scenes are highlighted.
Analysis: Overall the movie is good. A..Aa starts with the voice of Samantha and introduction of characters. The first half is fully loaded with love, affection, comedy and family bonding. The second half starts when Samantha came back to her home and in love of Nithin. The first half is good entertainer whereas the screen play in the second half is little bit slow. Trivikram became successful to use the talent of its star cast and delivered a good entertainer drama in the form of A..Aa. He has done fantastic job and the way he narrates a simple love story with gripping narration and fun, is really appreciable.
Punch: A decent family entertainer and Pisa Vassol movie.
