Editor Review

Inkokkadu Movie - Story:
The entire Malaysian police is trying  to capture the dreaded criminal called Love ("Vikram") and finally Akhil ("Vikram")  gets the assignment as Indian Embassy. Aayushi (Nithya Menen) is also involved in solving the mysterious case as undercover Raw Agent with Akhil. Love is responsible for the manufacture of drugs that give unlimited strength to the people after its consumption. Meera (Nayantara) comes as Vikram's wife in flashback episode, who is killed by Love . Akhil with the help of Aayushi to take the revenge on Love, who is the mastermind of drug making but not seen by anyone. Who is Love?  How will Akhil get Love? How Akhil will solve the case? To know these answers, one should watch the movie (Inkokkadu Movie) on silver screen.

Plus Points:

  • Performance of Vikram as Akhil and Love
  • Glamour of Nayantara and Nithya Menen
  • Cinematography
  • BGM

Minus Points:

  • Screenplay
  • Storyline
  • Editing

Performance:
Vikram has stolen the show especially in the role of Love.  He delivered brilliant performance in both the roles. He rocks with his body languages, walking style and way of dialogue delivery.  His beard get up and fighting resembles with Hollywood style. Nayantara and Nithya Menen poured their glamour and the audiences go crazy and mad.  Nithya Menen did not get chance to prove herself and she is wasted in her role as the actor’s shadow. The cast has given the focus on the acting as well as the entertainment. Nassar, Thambi Ramaiah, Bala, Karunakaran and Riythvika  did justification with their role.

Technical:
The story line of the movie is simple and takes twists and turns exceptionally well. The audiences did not get any freshness in the story. The production Value of the movie is superb.  The week story line and screenplay are the major drawback. The entertainment level goes down as the movie loses its pace in certain areas. The songs are not arranged properly and it acts like speed break that spoils the flow of the movie. Harris Jayraj’s background score elevates the movie to another level.  The music is melodious to hear, and touchable to the heart as well. The movie runs in investigation mode but the second half becomes little bit predicable at the time of twist reveal. The director tried to engage the audiences but  became fail during the later part. RD Rajasekhar's cinematography work is fantastic and showcase Malaysia and its surrounding. His amazing choreography of action sequences are the attractions on the technical front. Editing is not up to the mark. Editor should take care of the movie and there are few dragged scenes during the second half.  The climax is good.

Analysis:
Overall the movie is average action entertainer movie. The first half has good interesting investigation scenes where the story line of second half is predictable.  The major highlight of the movie is the performance of Vikram, interval twist and Terrific BGM.  The second half of the flick is described loosely and lacks engaging part compared to the first half. To relive the tension and if you want to spend your valuable time with your family, then catch it for LOVE.
