Editor Review

After delivering a series of hit movies,  young and energetic actor  Raj Tarun came up with comedy and romantic entertainer drama ‘Kittu Unnadu Jagratha’, which has hit the theaters today. Let’s see the story line.

Story: Kittu (Raj Tarun) and his friends run a car  garage and they live happily. Soon Raj Tarun falls in the love of Janaki (Anu Emmanuel) and one day she forgets  cash in Kittu’s garage and unfortunately, one  of  Kittu’s friend runs away with  that 25 Lakh cash bag. Raj  Tarun and his friends borrows Rs 15 Lakh from Prabhakar with high interest rate to compensate. But they feel that it is impossible to pay the loan with  their garage work so they decide to kidnap the dogs and start demanding money from their owners. Janaki and Kittu breaks up when Janaki comes to know that Kittu is a dog kidnapper.  The things get worst when a criminal AR (Arbaaz Khan) kidnaps  Janaki? Who is AR and why does he kidnaps Janaki?  How  Kittu will save Janaki? Form rest of the story.

Plus points:

  • Raj Tarun
  • Prudhvi
  • Comedy

Minus Points:

  • Predictable storyline
  • Music

Performance:  The performance of Raj Tarun as Kittu is appreciable. He depicts the role of car mechanic who is also a pet dogs kidnapper.   He impresses with ease at acting and with his charm.  Anu Emmanuel is good in the role of Janaki and grabs the attention of viewers by her glamour. Bollywood actor Arbaaz  Khan makes his comeback after a long time in  Tollywood and performs well as the bad guy. Comedian Snigdha who plays the role of Anu's friend does a commendable job with her perfect comic timing and punches. Prudhvi as usual steals the show once again with his rib-tickling comedy. Prabhakar, Sudharshan Reddy and Praveen and other justify with their roles.

Technical: The story line of the movie is simple but the way, the director present  it with good screenplay and  the concept of using dog kidnapping, is  superb. The dialogues are good. The music by Anup Rubens disappoints the audiences and only two songs are watchable. Cinematography work is ok. Editing by M.R.Varma is fine. The production value is good as the makers spend good amount on this limited budget saga. Vamsi Krishna has done good job  by adding the comedy and ample entertainment.

Analysis: Kittu Unnadu Jagratha  is another film that tries to cash on ‘entertainment’ factor and succeeds in it without being routine.  An interesting twist in the pre-interval scene keeps the audiences excited and eager for the second half of the movie. Once again Raj Tarun becomes successful to win the  heart of audiences by his perfect comic timing and performance. The screenplay is engaging. The Plus points are Raj Tarun, entertainment and dialogues. Overall Kittu Unnadu Jagratha  is a fun filled entertainer movie.
