Editor Review

After a long gap, Manchu Lakshmi is coming back on silver screen with woman centric movie ‘Lakshmi Bomb’, which has hit the theaters today on 10th March. Let’s see the storyline:

Story: Lakshmi (Manchu Lakshmi) is a session court Judge. She announces punishment to  goon (Prabhakar) who is involved in human trafficking. But the gangster attack on her with his gang, to take the revenge and kill her.  Later another Lakhmi enters in the picture and start to take ravage on these goons. Who is new Lakshmi? How will she take the revenge? To get these answers, one should watch the movie on silver screen.

 Plus Points:

  • Manchu Lakshmi
  • Runtime

Minus Points:

  • Direction
  • Music
  • Storyline
  • Screenplay

Performance:  The performance of  Manchu   Lakshmi is the one of the major asset of the movie. She steals the show with her fantastic performance especially in emotional scenes. Kalakeya Prabhakar is just ok. Posani Krishna Murali as Laksmi’s father and Hema as  Lakshmi’s mother  justify with their roles. Raghu Babu, Raja Ravindra, Jeeva, Bharat Reddy, Amit, Hemanth, Jeeva and others performed accordingly.

Technical: There is no any freshness in the story line. Music by Sunil Kashyap is  weak and the background score is terrible. The cinematography work is not up to mark and the  editing is atrocious. Dialogues did not leave any good impact. Screenplay lost its flow and has few jerks.

Analysis: Overall Lakshmi Bomb is a stale, meaningless and poorly executed movie. The ghost angle is treated like a joke by the director.  Only the presence of Manchu Lakshmi is  the plus point . The dragged scenes at certain places, weak direction and screenplay spoiled the entertainment level.
