After certain twist, one day Nithin was found murdered with a pencil and Shiva was caught. How Shiva will solve this murder mystery? Who killed Nithin? Performance: GV Praksh has improved his performance a lot. He has done good job, he as student and love boy performed well. Sri Divya in the role of Maya has done nice job. As student GV Prakash and Sri Divya have delivered brilliant performance. The sparkling chemistry between these two is the major highlights of the movie. Shaariq Hassan has done fantastic job in the role of Nithin. The character of VT Ganeshan is funny. Urvashi, TP Gajendran, Abhishek Shankar and others have done justification with their roles and their performances are the big assets of the movie.
Technical: GV Prakash has done fantastic job as an actor, the background music of the movie is ok but songs are not good. The placement of couple of songs looks like path breaker. GV Prakash should take the care of music department. Cinematography work is ok. The story line of the movie is thing and dialogues are crispy. The editing work is not up to the mark. Editor Anthony can cut few dragged scenes from the movie to make it better. The production value of the movie is good. The visuals are very nice.
Analysis: It is a crime thriller movie and the entire story happens in the school. During the investigation of murder, scenes are interesting but there is no logic. Overall it is a decent crime thriller drama with social message. GV Prakash’s bravery and never give up attitude in the movie has taken him to top level. The screenplay is not good but the story-line of the movie is good and suited to GV Prakash.
Punch: Pencil: A movie about the injustice done in Schools.
