Sarrainodu Movie Review :

Story: Gana (Allu Arjun)  is   care free and use less guy who  has no work in the life to perform,  in the eye of caring and loving father Umapathi (Jaya Prakash). He is an aggressive youth who gets back from the Army to serve the society.  He solves the case of his uncle Sripathi (Srikanth) in a very violent manner.  Gana comes in the contact of MLA Hansita Reddy(Catherine Tresa)  at the traffic signal and falls in her love. He tries to impress her in various manners. His family became agreed to marry him with MLA but when he asked her then she asked Gana to leave the violence.  One day, he helps the entire village and also saves Maha Lakshmi (Rakul Preet Singh)  without knowing that she is under threat from  Chief Minister’s son Vairam Dhanush (Aadhi Pinisetty), who  is a powerful and ruthless leader and  grabbed fertile lands  of villagers and he misuses his power to the fullest for his individual benefits. How Gana faces Vairam Dhanush? Who is Mahalakshmi? With whom Ghana will marry at the end?  What is the role of farmer's activist (Sai Kumar)? To get these answers, one should watch the movie on silver screen.

Plus Point:

  • Terrific performance of Allu Arjun
  • Glamour of Rakul
  • Item song
  • Cinematography
  • Production Value

Minus Point:

  • Performance of Catherine Tresa
  • Predictable story
  • Second half little bit dragged
  • Violence
  • Weak climax

Performance: Allu Arjun carried the responsibility of the movie on his shoulders and proved that he has ability to carry the success responsibility by his terrific performance.  He has done good job and pull off his character with his mass avatar.  His body languages and way of dialogue delivery received lot of applause.  Allu Arjun involved in all the department of entertainment and steals the show. He shows fire in his eyes and his body language is commendable. Aadhi Pinisetty performed well in the role of ruthless villain Dhanush. He has done justification with his role. Actress Rakul Preet Singh became successful to grab the attention of audiences by her glamour treat. Her wonderful performance deserves mention. On the other side, actress Catherine Tresa is average in her role of MLA. She was looking unfit in few scenes. Annapurna  in the role of Bunny’s mother performed well.  Brahmanandam became successful to give much laugh to the audiences. Anajli appears in item number which shot lavishly. Jayaprakash, Srikanth,  Prudhvi, , Jayapraksh Reddy, Adarsh Balakrishna, Sai Kumar, Pradeep Rawat, Surekha Vani, Vidyu Raman and other justified with their roles.

Technical:  The screen play is racy and the audiences are very happy with its interval block.  The dialogues in the movie are good. The song are composed by Thaman and impresses the audiences with catchy tunes and shot in rich manner that add flavour to the movie. The background score is superb that elevates the mass level.  Cinematography work is handled by Rishi Punjabi, is mind blowing and the major asset of the movie. Its visuals are  good treat by the makers to Mega fans. The high voltage action sequences which are choreographed by number of masters are really appreciable and fantastic.  The production value of Geetha Arts are superb and they did not compromise with the quality of the movie. The first half of the movie has sufficient commercial element and the dialogues have been penned well in the movie. The second half could by crispy by trimming few scenes. The plot sometimes travels in the predictable lines.

Analysis:  The overall movie is good entertainer and engaging.  The movie starts with the mass avatar of Allu Arjun which is choreographed by adding rich visuals. The first half of the movie is loaded with racy screenplay, comic and romantic scenes.  The interval block is the major highlights of the movie which is fully loaded with action sequences and the movie is a Oora mass  commercial entertainer drama which is designed in  the style of Boyapati Srinu. There are few dragged scenes in the second half of the movie that disappointed the audiences in few places.  The second half starts with flash back and there is no change in the screenplay from the starting to the second half and it goes in regular way as the movie moves toward the end. Boyapati Srinu became successful to present Bunny in mind blowing manner as in mass avatar.

Punch: Sarrainodu- Oora mass commercial and engaging entertainer drama.
