Agnyaathavaasi Movie Review :

Power Star Pawan  Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas’s  much awaited action and romantic entertainer Agnyaathavaasi, has finally hit the theaters today and it is receiving positive responses by the audiences from everywhere. Pawan promises to tickle funny bones of the audience with his onscreen antics, between breaking the bones of bad guys. Trivikram also knows the pulse of his audience. He has mastered the art of storytelling and engrossing his audience. Let’s see the story-line.

Story: The businessman Govind Bhargav alias Vinda  (Boman Irani), who built an empire in the name of AB,  has two wives. Abhishikth Bhargav (Pawan Kalyan) is a son from his first wife and Indrani (Kushboo) is his second wife.  Soon  Vinda and his son  are killed by business rivals. Abhishikth is the 'prince in exile' brought up without the greed of a materialistic life and he is forced to come out of the hiding as Indrani asks him to find out his father and brother’s killers. He joins a company as an employee where no one knows about his reality.  How will Abhishikth take the revenge of his father’s death and save his company AB, form the rest of the story.

Plus Points:

  • Pawan Kalyan
  • Cinematography
  • Interval twist
  • Kodaka Koteswar Rao song

Minus Points:

  • Screenplay

Performance:  Once again Pawan Kalyan steals the show with his terrific performance. The action, comedy and sentiments in the movie, portrayed by Power Star needs lot of applause.  His performance, body languages and the way of dialogue delivery, wins the heart of audiences. The character of Abhishikth Bhargav  is introduced as a killing machine, who has no qualms about killing. Kushboo as Indrani does superb job. She has given wonderful performance. Boman Irani as Vinda is perfect. The film features a stellar cast in the form of Aadhi Pinisetty as Seetharam, Vennela Kishore as Balasubramanyam Tanikella Bharani as Abhi's uncle,  Murli Sharma as Sharma and Rao Ramesh as Varma. Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel do not have noteworthy characters  but they look stylish and glamorous .

Technical: The storyline of  Agnyaathavaasi  is simple but impressive. The dialogues by Trivikram Srinivas are good. The production value of the movie is rich. The music by  Anirush Ravichander is ok  but the background score is unimpressive. The songs are neatly placed.  The action sequences are choreographed well. The fight sequences are totally meant to elicit claps and whistles from the audiences.  The Cinematography by Manikandhan is breath-taking and  he captured the visual in very interesting way. Editing is good.

Analysis: Agnyaathavaasi is blended rightly with the cast and fits into the commercial image of Pawan. The performance of Pawan Kalyan and punched dialogues of Trivikram Srinivas are highlighted. The Corporate war, Pawan  Kalyan’s entry and twist in the interval as to the real role of Pawan as Abhi has triggered audience interest in the second half.  The film has sufficient ingredients to make it work at box office.
