Editorandhagadu movie review :
After Kumari 21 F and Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam, successful pair Raj Tarun and Hebah Patel teamed up third time for the movie ‘Anddhagadu’ which is touted to be comedy and romantic entertainer movie. Raj Tarun is playing blind guy and the movie marks the directional debut of popular and successful writer Veligondla Srinivas. Andhhagadu has finally hit the theaters today on 2nd June. Let’s see the storyline.
Story line: Gautham (Raj Tarun) is a visually challenged person but he is happy go lucky guy. He works as RJ in radio station. He is blind from his childhood but he hides this fact and loves Netra (Hebah Patel) who works as an Ophthalmologist. Gautham falls for her and also makes her fall for him by tricking her that he has eye-sight like normal people. But soon, she realizes that Gautham is blind and she arranges eye operation for him. As a result of it, Gautham gets vision. Both Gautham and Netra start seeing each other but the twist arises in the tale when Gautham starts feeling the presence of the ghost Ranjith Kulkarni (Raendra Prasad) whose eyes are donated to Gautham. What will happen next? What Kulkarni wants from Gautham? How will Gautham come out from this mess? To get these answers one should watch the movie on silver screen.
Performance: As usual Raj Tarun has been improvising his acting talent day by day. He delivers his fantastic performances as blind guy. His natural performance, facial expression, comic act deserve lot of applause. He excels in all comedy, romance, action and sentimental scenes. He surprises everyone as a blind guy. Hebah Patel impresses the audiences with both performance and glamour. She upped her glam quotient especially in songs. The chemistry between Raj Tarun and Hebah are highlighted. Villain Raja Ravindra is good actor and he justifies to his role. Ashish Vidhyarthi is decent as the doctor. Rajendra Prasad looks quite dull in his role and does not bring any depth to the proceedings. The other casts Siyaji Shinde, Fish Venkat, Jaya Prakash Reddy and others perform accordingly.
- Performance of Raj Tarun
- Hebah Patel
- Interval bang
- Production value
- Second half slow
- Predictable plot
Technical: The production value of AK Entertainments are top notch. Music scored by Sekhar Chandra is quite impressive as all the songs sound good and shot well. Dialogues are good and impressive. The editing is not up to the mark. There is need of serious editing as many dragged scenes between Rajendra Prasad and Raj Tarun can be easily trimmed. Writer turned director Veligonda Srinivas has done good job with his debut film but he became fail to execute the movie. Though the story-line line of the movie is good but uninteresting execution spoils the entertainment level. Cinematography by Rajasekhar is appealing.
Analysis: Overall Andhagadu is a decent comedy entertainer movie. The movie starts with superb fun but gets sidetracked during the later stages. Raj Tarun’s performance, the chemistry between Raj Tarun and Hebah, and comedy are highlighted. The revenge drama along with ghost drama in romantic movie looks different but interesting. The first half is very entertaining with hilarious entertainment and a very interesting interval bang featuring Rajendra Prasad. But the second half seems to be dragged and makes audience bored little bit. If ignore the slightly slow and dragged second half, the audiences can enjoy the movie as it is watchable with entire family.
