Plus Points:

  • Story
  • Performances
  • Narration
  • BGM
  • Dialogues

Minus  Point:

  • Slow pace
  • Editing

Performance: Ravi Varma and Anand Ravi have  given their fantastic performances. Ravi  Varma’s body language and way of dialogue delivery are appreciable. Komali has done justification to her role. Kedar Shankar got less screen space but he has done good job. Bhanu performed well. Madumani, Guru Raj, Allu Ramesh and others performed according to their roles.

Technical:  Anand  Ravi as a director and writer has done superb job. The director narrates the story in a very interesting manner.  The screenplay is gripping.  The production values are good. Siddharth Sadasivuni’s background score is appealing and elevating scenes. The music is impressive and sometimes gives a helping hand. Margal David's Cinematography work is good. Editing of Karthika Srinivas could have been better as there are many drags in the second half of the film.

Analysis: The story of  Napoleon starts off on a interesting note and investigation progresses with a good interval bang. From the second half, the investigation turns slow. Ravi Varma and Anand  Ravi’s performance, engaging plot-line, impressive music altogether made  Napoleon a watchable movie. Try this film, this weekend and you will not be disappointed.
