Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer much awaited movie “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” which has received the terrific positive reviews from the viewers in Dubai, has hit the theaters. There is no need of introduction of Pawan Kalyan , as he is the person who has ability to carry the entire responsibility of movie on his shoulder and already he announced that Sardaar Gabbar Singh is dedicated to his fans. Let’s see the storyline.
Story: Rattanpur and its surrounding area is under the control of Bhairav Singh (Sharadh Kelkar) and his gang. First he disappointed Hari Narayana but later he became successful to impress him. Bhairav Singh does not only create problems for villagers but also creates problem for Arshi (Kajal), the daughter of Raja Narayana. How will Sardaar Gabbar Singh save the people of Rattanpur? How will Sardaar eradicate the gang of Bhairav Singh in Rathanpur? How will Sardaar solve the problems of Arshi? To get these answers, one should watch the movie on silver screen.
- Terrific performance of Pawan Kalyan
- Glamour of Kajal Aggarwal
- Production Value
- Art direction
- Action sequences
- Forceful comedy
- Dragged second half
- Routine story
Performance: Power Star Pawan Kalyan stole the show of the movie by his wonderful performance, body languages, way of uttering dialogues and comedy timing. He has done fantastic job by delivering such type of movie that shows his mannerisms and heroism. He attracted the audiences by his dance to medley in which he imitated his elder brother Megastar Chiranjeevi and his veena step is superb and watchful. Pawan Kalyan carried the entire movie on his shoulder. Actress Kajal Aggarwal is looking very cute throughout the movie and especially in songs. She did not get much screen space to prove herself. Kajal’s attitude, makeup and costume and his way of talking as princess of Kingdom is really appreciable. Sharad Khelkar performed well but according to audiences, his dubbed voice is not effective and suited to his character. He became successful to show his evilness by his eyes and impressed the audiences. His screen presence and body language is appreciable. Brahmanandam, Ali and other comedy gang performed well. Posani Krishna Murali, Kabir Khan, Mukesh Rishi and Rao Ramesh got normal roles and have done justification with their roles. Raai Lakshmi attracted the audiences by Tauba Tauba song.
Technical: The story of Sardaar Gabbar Singh is outdated. Screenplay is flat and does not able to engage the audiences. Pawan Kalyan who provided the storyline and screenplay, has become fail in this aspect. In few scenes, Pawan Kalyan looked tired and dull. Dialogues are provided by Sai Madhav Burra, is good that elevate the heroism. The main drawback of the movie is its screenplay. The music and the background score do not leave any good impact. The music of Devi Sri Prasad is good but background score is not up to mark. Cinematography which is handled by Wilson is very attractive. The romance between Kajal and Pawan has been designed nicely. Art direction is beautiful. Editing work is not up to the mark. The movie can be better by trimming few dragged scenes. Action choreography is good and Production value is grand.
Analysis: Overall the movie is average. The first half of the movie is good but the entertainment level goes not towards the end. There are few scenes in the movie which is much impressive that shows Pawan Kalyan in a very stylish manner. The few action sequences looked fake and became fail to impress the audiences. The interval block has heavy dose of action but fail to impress the audiences and complete plot is predictable. The audiences did not get any impressive element in the movie and the second half irritates them and tests their patience. The movie is good only for Pawan’s fan. Others may find difficult to digest this routine and painful storyline. Makers should take care the content of the movie. The movie disappoints the audiences.
