Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi Movie Review :

Young actor Ram Pothineni, Anupama Parameswaran, Lavanya Tripathi and Sri Vishnu starrer Vunnadi Okate Zindagi, directed by Kishore Tirumala has hit the theaters today. Earlier Ram and Kishore Tirumala have worked together for the decent hit movie Nenu Sailaja.   Once again both actor and director teamed up for Vunnadi Okate Zindagi to recreate the magic on silver screen. Let’s see the story-line.

Story: Abhiram (Ram Pothineni) and Vasu (Sri Vishnu) are childhood friends and very close together. Abhiram is  a simple and straightforward guy, who is  clear about what he wants in life. The twist arises in the story  with the entry of Maha (Anupama Parameswaran) and  both friends becomes loggerheads. What happened between Abhiram and Vasu? How Maha creates problem for  both the  friends?  Where does Maggie (Lavanya Tripathi) fit in this entire set up. To get these answers one should watch the movie on silver screen.

Plus Points:

  • Ram’s performance
  • Dialogues
  • Cinematography
  • Music

Minus Points:

  • Slow Narration
  • No Comedy

Performance: Ram Pothineni as Abhi Ram delivers brilliant performance. He has two shades.  Ram looks handsome.  Sri Vishnu looks good and performance wise, he is impressive. His  scenes with Anupama have come out very well. Anupama Parameswaran and Lavanya Tripathi have got good scope  to prove their performance skills and they have given their best. Anupama Parameswaran  in the role of Maha performs well.  Lavanya Tripthai as Maggie looks cute and she justifies with her role as a wedding planner. Priyadarshi gets a lengthy role  and he entertain the audiences throughout the film. Kireeti Damaraju and rest of the cast perform accordingly.

Technical: The story line of Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi is simple and emotional but impressive. The production values  by Sravanti movies  are rich. The music of Devi Sri Prasad is highlighted. The catchy tunes and meaningful lyrics of the songs are impressive and background score are superb. The cinematography work by Sameer Reddy is note worthy as he showcases Vizag and its surrounding areas nicely. The exotic locales and beautiful picturisation are the other attractions on the technical front. Editing is below par as there are number of dragged scenes in the movie. Art department did a nice job. Narration is slow. Dialogues are impressive.   There is no excitement in the flow of the scenes.  The narration is not impressive.  The director made the proceedings a bit simple.

Analysis: Overall  Vunnadi Okate Zindagi is   good entertainer film with good emotions.  It is all about the story of friendship. The  first half takes much time to  establish the characters and manages to tell an adorable tale of friendship and budding love until two twists tear everything apart and shake things up. Abhiram and Vasu are friends from childhood and when Maha comes into their lives their friendship goes downside. The first half is emotional and involves around true friendship  It  is all about clearing their misunderstandings and going back into their friendship like before. In the  second half Abhiram returns to Ooty from Italy to attend a wedding for 10 days. Here scenes are designed to reunite Abhiram, Vasu and their three other friends. Meghana/Maggie (Lavanya Tripathi) – a Wedding planner enters the story and second time in their lives same girl impresses both Abhiram and Vasu .The second half is very slow. The climax is emotional. The slow-paced narration coupled with predictable screenplay makes the movie sluggish. 'Life is a Rainbow' and 'Rayyi Rayyi Mantoo'  song look good on the screen. The director has mixed family emotions, love story and friendship bonding into the film.
