Prabhas is currently busy in his upcoming film, which is being directed by Radha Kirshna Kumar. The film’s title has not been finalised. Until it is, it will be referred with the working title Prabhas 20, as the film is his 20th venture. Pooja Hegde who was last seen in Trivikram Srinivas’s directorial venture Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava is on the board to play the love interest of Prabhas in this romantic entertainer. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Prabhas20 will retell the classic tale of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, but with a twist. The sources close to the film unit reveal that Prabhas will be seen playing a rich man whereas Pooja Hegde will be seen playing the role of girl, who hails from a poor family.
#Prabhas20 is a big budget entertainer, which is jointly bankrolled by Gopikrishna Movies and UV Creations. Amit Trivedi has been roped in to compose the tunes for this flick, with Manoj Pramahamsa handling the cinematography department.
Few days ago on 16th December, Radha Krishna Kumar took to his twitter to share the update regarding #Prabhas20 and wrote, “Dear darling fans, I want to share so many updates about #prabhas20 but bounded to wait for the right occasion. All the update for now is that shooting is in progress and a kickass movie will be ready by the end of 2019.”
Meanwhile, Prabhas also has the magnum opus Saaho in his kitty. Saaho, directed by Sujeeth, is bankrolled by V. Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner UV Creations, is being made on a budget of Rs 300 Cr. The film’s star cast also includes Neil Nitin Mukesh, Lal, Arun Vijay, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Jackie Shroff, Vennela Kishore, and Chunkey Pandey in supporting roles. The film is slated to hit the theaters on 15th August 2019 on the occasion of Independence day.
