Saakshyam starring Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and Pooja Hegde in main leads, directed by Sriwaas and produced by Abhishek Nama under the banner of Abhishek Pictures, was slated for release today. According to the latest update, the 8:45 AM shows in Hyderabad and premiers in USA for Saakshyam have been cancelled due to technical glitches and financial issues. Reports suggest that delay in content loading is the main reason behind the tickets cancellation.
Bellomkonda Sai Srinivas is one of the actor, who has acted in only big budget movies but all the movies have turned out commercially flop at the box office. Till date, the actor did not taste the success. Right from his debut film Alludu Seenu, all his movies became fail to recover their budgets. This time, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is pinning lot of hopes. Saaskhyam has also done good pre release business but the makers are yet to recover their investments and the movie should perform exceptional to end up as a safe project.
The exhibitors were informed that they will get the content from 3 am today. But the latest news is that all the morning shows have been cancelled due to the delay in uploading the digital content. Fresh reports have come that Overseas prints are dispatched just a couple of hours back. Made on a massive budget of Rs 40 Cr, it seems the makers and buyers would be losing big through the cancelled morning shows.
There is also a buzz in film Industry that the makers of Saakshyam did not clear the finances to the Lab, which worked for the post production work of Saakshyam.
Directed by Sriwass of ‘Loukyam’ fame, Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Kishan, Ashutosh Rana, Rao Ramesh, Sarath Kumar, Pavitra Lokesh, Meena, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji and others are playing the supporting roles in Saakshyam, which has the music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
