Salman Khan was on the radar of Lawrence Bishnoi’s inter-state gang. The contract killer Sampat Nehra who wanted to kill Salman Khan, has been arrested by Haryana STF.
Haryana Special Task Force has arrested gangster Sampat Nehra from Hyderabad on Wednesday, who is a sharpshooter and a part of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. According to the police report, Sampat Nehra was planning to kill Bollywood Tiger Salman Khan. He has been brought to Gurugram on transit remand.
According to the police report, 28 years old Sampat Nehra, went to Mumbai as a part of his plan (Salman Khan’s Killing) and he clicked few photographs of the actor and his home. Sampat Nehra thought that after killing Bajrangi Bhaijaan star Salman Khan, he would fly out of India.
The police said that Bishnoi gang is running the entire network from jail and the members of this gang were in the touch of Sampat Nehra through mobile phones.
The deputy inspector general, Haryana STF, Mr Satheesh Balan said, “Salman Khan was on the gang’s hitlist and Sampat Nehra alone had been assigned to execute the operation of killing Salman Khan. He went to Mumbai for two days and clicked few pics and kept his eyes on Salman’s Khan’s movement around the balcony and house in Galaxy Apartment, possibly to gauge the distance and weaponry required.”
Sampat Nehra is the son of a retired assistant sub inspector of Chandigarh police and a national level decathlon athlete. Sampat Nehra accused in more than a dozen cases of murder, extortion, carjacking and robber.
Sampat Nehra met Bishnoi when they were both lodged in a Patiala Jail. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is quite active on social media platforms- Facebook and Whatsapp. The police said Sampat Nehra would be produced in the court for remand and further investigation.
Meanwhile Salman Khan is waiting for the release of Race 2, which is arriving at the theaters on 15th June 2018. He is also playing cameo in Shahrukh Khan’s Zero. Recently Salman Khan has announced his next upcoming project ‘Bharat’ to be helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, starring Priyanka Chopra, Disha Patani.
