Once again Salman Khan has topped the list of Forbes India Celebrity 100. He has done it again. Salman Khan has been named the highest earning Indian celebrity by Forbes once more, cementing his position at the top.
Thanks to his blockbuster films, many brand endorsements and the television projects, the 52-year-old actor Salman Khan raked in Rs 253.25 Cr between 1st October 2017, and 30th September, 2018, becoming the country’s highest paid celeb for the third consecutive year.
Interestingly, the second spot is occupied by a cricketer and he is none other than Virat Kohli. With Rs 228.09 Cr earnings, it’s Virat Kohli, who stand on 2nd position in the list of Forbes India Celebrity 100. Akshay Kumar (Rs 185 cr) follows next.
On the other side, Deepika Padukone has become the first woman to feature in the top 5. With Rs 112.8 Cr earnings, Padmaavat and her many brand endorsements, the actress stands at No. 4. And at No. 5 in Mahendra Singh Dhoni with total earnings worth Rs 101.77 Cr.
Aamir Khan, Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and Ajay Devgn follow next in the top 10 bracket.
This year, only 18 females, including Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Taapsee Pannu, Nayantara and ace shuttler PV Sindhu have made it to the list of Forbes India Celebrity 100. Last year, their number was 21.
In Telugu film Industry, 7 celebrities have occupied place in the list of Forbes India Celebrity 100.
