Samantha Akkineni is playing the lead role in upcoming woman centric movie ‘U Turn’. The film is the remake of a Kannada thriller drama with the same title. Today Samantha Akkineni unveiled the first look poster of herself from U Turn on her Twitter and captioned it, “Here is a film I believe in Hope you will share the same opinion on September 13th in Telugu and Tamil .Presenting #UTurnTheMovie first look.Directed by @pawanfilms and produced by @SS_Screens. Also stars @AadhiOfficial @23_rahulr @bhumikachawlat @UTurnTheMovie.” Coming on the first look poster of U Turn, Samantha Akkineni is seen in serious look. In the backdrop, old building, flying birds and jeep driving with flash light are seen.

Samantha will be seen playing journalist whereas Rahul Ravindran and Aadhi pinisetty will be seen in important role. Bhumika Chawla will be seen in a guest role. According to the latest update, the makers have wrapped up the shooting of talkies part and very soon the shoot of song will be started. Pawan Kumar is directing the movie U Turn, which is touted to be a mystery thriller. U Turn is bilingual movies and it will be out in both Telugu and Tamil languages.
U Turn is jointly bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chitturi and Rambabu Bandaru, whereas the music is scored by Poorna Chandra Tejaswi. Niketh Bommi has handled the cinematography.
Samantha Akkineni who has delivered back to back hit movies like Ranagsthalam, Mahanati and Abhimanyudu, is pinning lot of hopes of U Turn. She will also be seen in upcoming movie Seema Raja.
