Samantha Akkineni is getting ready to fight with her hubby Naga Chaitanya at the box office. Recently Samantha Akkineni announced that the release date of her upcoming bilingual drama U Turn will be revealed on Monday. Finally the makers have confirmed the release date of U Turn and it’s both Tamil and Telugu version will be released on 13th September 2018. This news is confirmed by Samantha herself as she wrote on the wall of her Twitter, “#UTurnTheMovie will release on September 13th.. @SS_Screens @Dhananjayang @pawanfilms @AadhiOfficial @23_rahulr Hoping and praying for the best “
It is known news that Naga Chaitanya and Anu Emmanuel starrer upcoming romantic and family entertainer Sailaja Reddy Alludu, was scheduled to hit the theaters on 31st August but now the makers have postponed the release. According to the latest update, Maruthi Dasari’s directorial venture Sailaja Reddy Alludu will be released on 13th September. In this condition, both Samantha Akkineni starrer U Turn and Naga Chaitanya starrer Sailaja Reddy Alludu will clashed at the box office. We have to wait and watch, who will win the box office race, Samantha or Naga Chaitanya.
U Turn is remake of Kannada hit film of same title in which Sharddha Srinath played the lead role. Samantha will be seen playing a journalist and Aadhi Pinisetty is playing police officer. The story documents a journalist who investigates a crime. Apart from Samantha, the film also stars Rahul Ravindran in key role. The film is helmed by Pawan Kumar, who also helmed the Kannada original. Interestingly, Sivakarthikeyan’s Seema Raja in which Samantha Akkineni is also playing the female lead is also releasing on 13th September.
On the otherside, Naga Chaitanya will also be seen in Chandoo Mondeti’s directorial venture Savyasachi, which is currently in post production stage.
