Thalapathy Vijay is back with creative and talented film maker A.R, Murugadoss with Sarkar. Yesterday the makers released the first look poster of Thalapathy Vijay. Coming on the poster, Vijay was seen lighting the cigarette in his trademark style and in the background, we see the nightscape of a City.

Popular politician Anbumani Ramadoss took to Twitter to condemn Vijay for the first look, as he seems to be smoking in the image. His tweet read, “You’ll look more stylish without that cigarette. #SmokingKills #SmokingCausesCancer.” He again tweeted, “Shame on Actor Vijay for promoting Smoking in this first look of his next movie. #ActResponsibly #DoNotPromoteSmoking.”

The poster indicates that Vijay will be seen essaying the role of a rich businessman in Sarkar. Keerthy Suresh who is basking in the glory of herrecent offering Mahanati, the biopic of South Indian legendary actress Savitri, is on the board to play the love interest of Vijay in Sarkar. Earlier both Vijay and Keerthy Suresh have worked together for Bhairavaa which was hit at the box office. This is the second time that Keerthy Suresh has been paired with Vijay.
Apart from the lead pair, Sakar has other stars like Pala Karuppaiah, Livingston, Yogi Babu, Prem, Radha Ravi, Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar in supporting role. Pala Karuppaiah, who is a politician in real life, is playing one in the reel life too, Radha Ravi is essaying the role of an MLA.
AR Rahman is scoring the music for the Vijay starrer Sarkar. The lyricist Vivek, who has already impressed Vijay’s fans with mass lyrics in Mersal, has joined hands with AR Rahman and Vijay for Sarkar.
Sarkar is slated to hit the theaters in November on the occasion of Diwali.
