PV Sindhu, Special Guest at Krishna Pushkaralu

Andhra Pradesh Chief  Minister Chandra Babu Naidu invited PV Sindhu and her family as the special guest  for the Krishnamma Harathi ritual during the closing ceremony of Krishna Pushkaralu. He telephoned Sindhu’s parents yesterday and invited them to attend the ceremony.n nToday morning PV Sindhu has been reached Hyderabad and received grand welcome by the Deputy CM of AP Nimmakayala Chinarajappa and minister Devineni Uma and  MP Kesineni Nani at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.n nTelangana government announced cash reward of Rs. 5 Cr for P V Sindhu who won  silver medal in women's badminton singles at Rio Olympics 2016. She became the first Indian woman to clinch a Silver in the Olympics. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao also offered her  government job, if she is willing to do.

PV Sindhu's Caste highly searched in Google

PV Sindhu’s caste has been searched the most by the users from both Telugu States, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. There were more than 150,000 searches for her caste in June, and nearly 90,000 in July whereas the interest over past 7 days for  “pv Sindhu caste”  was at the peak and in August, search was 10 times more for her caste compared to July and so over a million of Indians  searched her caste.   It is very shocking that more than her performance, people are showing interest to know about her caste. Currently ‘PV Sinchu Caste’ is at the top searches for her name on Google. ‘Pullela Gopichand caste’ is also a frequently searched item on Google, that shows that people are much curious about the cast of her coach Gopichand also.n nCurrently Sindhu is on ninth cloud as she has become the first Indian woman to win a sliver medal  at Rio Olympics.  Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Haryana are the top three states that searched Sindhu’s caste. Recently both Telugu states claimed that  Sindhu was their daughter or ammayi . The people are searching her caste because her parents had a love marriage.

Sudden craze on biopic of Sindhu’s coach Gopichand

The entire nation is talking about 21 years old badminton player PV Sindhu who won silver medal in Rio Olympics 2016 and now after her winning,  the biopic on  Sindhu’s coach Pullela Gopichand  has became a hot topic of discussion not only in both Telugu states but all over India.  The former badminton champ and current National coach, who inspired number of sports persons and contributed stars like Saina Nehwal, Srikant Kidambi and finally PV Sindhu. n nThe Hindi and Telugu biopic is being planned and  it will be produced by Abhishek Nama. According to him, the life of Gopichand is very filmy and the upcoming biopic will focus on his early struggle, love story, his mother’s emotion and his injury that finished his career and then his win changed the face of Indian Badminton. The biopic will be directed by National award winner Praveen Sattaru and it is tentatively titled 'Pullela Gopichand'. The makers are planning to shot the major portion of the movie in various locations of Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Birmingham and Lucknow, and it will go on the floor in November.

Saina Nehwal admitted to hospital

India’s star badminton player, Saina Nehwal was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad and  undergoing treatment for her knee injury which affected her progress in the badminton event of the Rio Olympics 2016. This news is shared by Saina’s father Harvir Singh. He said that  Saina came back to home on 16th August and next day, she was admitted in the hospital. He added that an Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan was also conducted but the doctor did not reveal anything about the scan and he added that     Saina is going to fly Mumbai for the advanced Checkups as the doctors have referred her case to a hospital at Mumbai.n nSaina injury happened during the training before the Olympics and it got worse during the Rio Olympics match. She has been hospitalized for the last two days and undergoing  treatment for her  knee injury which got worse during the match against Maria at Rio Olympics.

P V Sindhu enters badminton finals

Second time in less than 24 hours, India has been assured an Olympic medal. On Thursday, wrestler Sakshi Malik won a historic bronze medal in women's 58kg freestyle  and became the first wrestler from India to bag Olympic medal and the fourth female athlete from the country to stand at the top of World Sport.n nNow The Telugu girl PV Sindhu  creates the  history by becoming the first Indian shuttler to enter the finals as she stuns Nozomi Okuhara in straight games 21-19 21-10 and assured a medal for India. The parents of P V Sindhu are giving  all credit to coach  Gopichand. Hashim Amla breaks Kohli’s record

South Africa opener Hashim Amla, is one of the best batsmen in World Cricket. Virat donates 50 Perc of his IPL earnings

Indian Test Skipper Virat Kohli  donated 50% of his earning of ILP to Abhalmaya, the old age home.  The star Cricketer Virat visited the old age home, which is now home of 57 elderly people. He interacted with the aged people who were living there.  His kind heart act and gesture make him rock star. He initiated charity foundation in his name for the help of needy people and underprivileged kids. His charity foundation also organized a football match in which Bollywood actors and Cricketers participated on 30 March at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The main intention to organize the event was to raise the funds. Recently BCCI nominated his name for Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award.

Virat Kohli nominated for the Khel Ratna Award

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) nominated Indian Test Skipper Virat Kohli  for Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, the nation’s biggest sporting award and Ajinkya Rahane, is also in line for another honour, having been nominated for the Arjuna award.  Khel Ratna is regarded as the highest sporting honour in Indian and it is awarded to the outstanding performance for more than four years in the field of sports. Kohli was also named as the ‘Player of the Tournament’ at ICC Worlds T20.  In 2013, Kohli was honoured with Arjuna awards. Rajiv Khel Ratna carries citation and the cash award of Rs 7.5 Lakhs whereas Arjuna Award carries citation and Rs 5 lakh cash award. If Kohli is awarded this prestigious honour, he will become the third cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni to be bestowed with this honour.

Kohli named 'Man of the Tournament' in World T20

India's premier batsman Virat Kohli, won the player of the Tournament award for his terrific and brilliant performance in the ICC World T20, which concluded on Sunday at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. It is the successive second time when Kohli won the award as he was also named as the player of the 2014 tournament in Bangladesh following his 319 runs which helped Indian to reach the final.  Kohli was not present there so former Indian captain and CAB president Sourav Ganguly collected his award on behalf of  Kohli. On this announcement, Kohli reacted that he was very disappointed that  they were unable to reach final and win ICC World Twenty 20 title on their home soil but he is proud to be named  as player of the tournament. He congratulated to the West Indies men’s and women’s squads for their successes.

Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan appreciated Kohli  when  India won World T20 against Australia recently. Everyone was congratulating the Team India and celebrated the success as India got entry in Semi-finals. Jai Pakistan on WhatsApp lands students in trouble

During the match of  World T20 India Vs Pakistan, when few college students were discussing the match in a chat group, one of them typed‘Jai Pakistan’, and fall in trouble. This incident happened in Puttur, Bengaluru. According to SP Sharanappa S Dhage, when one student sent the message “Jai Pakistan” in chat group, one of them took a screenshot of that chat and shared it outside. It was also brought to the notice of the police. The police summoned the students and asked them to sign a bond. Police also verified the students and it was found that there was no any bad intention of the students in posting the words 'Jai Pakistan'. After checking the background of the students, they were sent back and the case was closed.

Tomorrow on 19th March, India and Pakistan will renew their cricketing rivalry in T20 World Cup when both teams will face to each other in crucial Group 2 match at Eden Gardens.  The cricket match will be the most important sporting attraction not only in Asia but across the World.  The social media plays very important role in doubling the hype for the matches with Cricket fans  around the World. T20 WC Team Points Standings

New Zealand stunned India to open their account on the points table. Kiwi successfully defended 126 and bundled out India for paltry 79 runs. Mitchell Santner was awarded man of the match for his 4-wicket haul conceding 11 runs. After this win New Zealand opened their point accounts in Group 2 whereas for India the remaining matches become do or die encounters. World T20 2016: Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 15 runs

Today Pakistan  beat Sri Lanka by 15 runs in warm up match to begin World T20 Journey in India at Eden Gardens cricket stadium of Kolkatta. Pakistan restricts Srilanka to 142/9 and gives them 15 run win in the warm up. ICC World T20: Shahid Afridi, Gets more love in India than Pakistan

The Pakistani team has arrived in Kolkata on Saturday night after receiving government clearance to travel. Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi interacted with media during  press conference on Sunday and spoke that he was happy to be in India, where he was even more loved than in Pakistan. He added that  his team received warm welcome after arriving for the World 20 Championship and never felt any security threat in this country. He always enjoyed cricket in India and received lot of love from the Indian people. Even in Pakistan he did not received that much love, which he received in India. He added  that first two matches would be very important  and extremely crucial for Pakistan. They will play first match against Bangladesh (they are yet to be qualify) and then next, match with India. Afridi also praised Indian team and said that Indian team is also performing well and there will a tight affair against Indian on 19th March in Eden Gardens ground. Afridi is also confident that his team will do good job.

Virat Kohli apologize on Women's Day

Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli apologized on the occasion of International Women’s day and came up with a special message for all women. He tweeted,” Sorry for the jerks, the cat-callers, the stalkers. Don't let them ruin it for the rest of us. Happy Women's Day”. World T20, India vs Pakistan: Countdown starts

On Friday, the Himanchal Pradesh Government assured the State High Court that they are ready to provide the security for India-Pakistan World T20 match  in Dharamsala which will take place on 19th March.  Pakistan Government also decided to send a security team to assess the situation in India for the match. A division bench comprising Chief Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir and Justice Sureshwar Thakur have issued the order to maintain law and order at Dharamshala during the match. The order was passed on PIL filed by Sudhir Prakash Dogra, a resident of Shimla who claimed that the match in Dharamsala, is part of a series of 10 matches to be held there and if in any case the match is cancelled then it would dent the image of India and state would face huge loss. The next date of hearing is set on 9th March.  After the meeting between Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad, the Pakistan government has taken  the decision to send a security team to assess the ground. MS Dhoni: Big performance in the final against Bangladesh

Indian Captain Mehandra Singh Dhoni said that they have to deliver a big performance against Bangladesh in the clash of Asia Cup T 20 Cricket tournament which will be played on Sunday at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.   The Indian team maintained all win records by presenting best performance to thrash minnows United Arab Emirates  by nine wickets in round robin league match.They rolled on as they have won nine out of ten T20 Internationals played this year which is very good track record going in the ICC World T20.  Dhoni added that  they have to come up with another big  performance in the final as Bangladesh has also a good team and they  have improved their performance. It is not a easy task against the hosts Bangladesh who have better teams like  Sri Lanka and Pakistan.  The only one game that Bangladesh lost was against India, which was the opening game of the tournament.  MS Dhoni is very happy and excited with the performance of his team and he is aware that they are going to play against Bangladesh in the final of the Asia Cup which is not an easy task.  Dohni is hopeful that his team will put up a big show in the final. He believes that India is ready to perform best for ICC World T20 2016.

Telugu Warriors are winners of CCL 6

The Telugu Warriors recorded the Landslide victory against Karnataka Bulldozers  in 'Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) 6 in finals yesterday.  Telangana Minister KTR, King Nagarjuna, Raga Daggubatai, Victory Venkatesh and other celebrates attended the game and supported Telugu Warriors. Karnataka Bulldozers won the toss and elected to bat against Telugu Warriors at Uppal Stadium.  Karnataka Bulldozers set the target of 208 runs for Telugu Warrior. Telugu Warriors and their captain Akhil were not worried as they were happy chasing CCL 2016 Finals.  Telugu Warriors displayed a professional batting prowess and chased the target.  Sachin Joshi declared as ‘Man of the Match’ as he scored 114 runs in 49 balls whereas Prince scored electrifying half century and clinching towards the victory.  Telugu Warriors was led by Victory Venkatesh and Akkineni Akhil who proudly lifted the cup.

Telugu warriors have entered in the final of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL 6) sixth season and is going to face with two time winner Karnataka Bulldozers  today on 14th February. The match will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad. In the semi-final Telugu Warriors clashed with Bhojpuri Dabangs who won the toss and elected to bowl.  Finally Telugu Warriors put decent scores and defeated Bhojpuri Dabangs and entered in final CCL6.  The Sandalwood team entered in the semi-finals after defeating Chennai Rhinos and Telugu Warriors. Amla denies reports of interview with TV anchor over her dress

Top South African cricketer Hashim Amla  has spoken up on reportedly denying an interview to an Indian TV Anchor who was undressed. In a series of tweeted, Amala, refuted the reports and said that he has ‘never asked any reporter to dress for my liking. He tweeted,” hey cumon peeps, 95%of stuff on d Internet r fake..but u knew dat right? World Cup T20 India squad announced

The selection committee picked the World T20 and Asia Cup squad in New Delhi today. All rounder Pawan Nagi is the surprise pick for the World Twenty 20 whereas Mohammed Shami returns to the squad. Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh also selected in the 15 member Indian Squad for the two events.  Other players like Jasprit Bhumrah and Hardik Pandya who also impressed in the recent series against Australia also selected by BCCI Secretary Anuragh Thakur after  the meeting which was held by selection committee today. The Full squad for ICC World T20 & Asia Cup includes: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Captain), Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja, Rohit Sharma, Shikar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Pawan Negi, Mohd Shami, Harbhajan Singh, Jasprit Bhumrah, Ashish Nehra, Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin.
