Apart from millions of fans, several film industry colleagues couldn’t fathom the yesteryear diva’s unexpected passing away. Sridevi’s co-star in Govinda Govinda, Nagarjuna, opened up about how Sridevi’s demise had taught him important life lessons.

Veteran actress Sridevi’s demise has left the entire Bollywood industry in jolted. she breathed her last in Dubai where she had gone to attend the wedding of his nephew Mohit Marwah. She was 54. It is still unbelievable that one of the most charming actresses of Indian cinema is not with us anymore.

  Recently during the media interaction as a part of promotional activities of his upcoming movie ‘Officer’, Akkineni Nagarjuna opened up how Sridevi’s sudden demise had taught him important life lessons.  Sridevi and Nagarjuna has worked together for the movie Govinda Govinda in 1993, directed by Ram Gopal Varma and produced by C. Ashwini Dutt under the banner of  Vyjayanthi Movies. “I still can’t believe she is gone. Life is so unpredictable. The suddenness of Sridevi’s death has made me appreciate my loved ones more. It’s important to live every moment positively and beautifully,” Nagarjuna said.

Apart from Govida Govinda, Nagarjuna, has also shared the screen space with Sridevi in several other movies  like Mr Bechara, Great Robbery, Khuda Gawah and Aakhari Poratam. Nagarjuna added that the actress’ contribution to both Bollywood and Tollywood  is immense. She was equally important to Hindi and south cinema. Her contribution to  the cinema in the south – whether it was Malayalam, Telugu or Tamil, cannot be undermined.

Sridevi’s death has remained a mystery, with several people claiming that she was murdered. A retired ACP  Ved Bhushan, who runs a private investigation agency,  claimed that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim was involved in her death. According to few Sridevi was murdered because of her life insurance worth Rs 240 crore.
