On Thursday, Kollywood star Suriya gifted a swanky Toyota Fortuner car to Vignesh Shivn for the success of Thaana Serndha Koottam (Gang in Telugu), the remake of Akshay Kumar’s Special 26. On receiving the surprise gift from his hero, the director tweeted “Yaar enna sonnalum Anbaagavae iruppom (Whatever people say, we stay united by love).ThankU @Suriya_offl sir for this priceless Anbu (love) & kind gesture It takes a big heart to encourage a beginner like me. Not sure if I deserve this much love frm u sir! ThankU for the opportunity & this moment”.
This is the third time in recent past that Suriya has gifted a car to his directors. Following the success of Singam 3/Si 3, he gifted a car to director Hari and he also gifted a car to Pasanga 2 director Pandiraj.
TSK was released in January this year. The film, also starring Keerthy Suresh, Ramya Krishnan, Karthik and Suresh Menen. It was all about the story of a con gang that conducts illegal raids on the rich.
On the work side, Currently Suriya is shooting for Selvaraghavan’s NGK. He will next collaborate with KV Anand for action-thriller drama.
