Devi Babu Chowdhary has alleged that both the director Ram Gopal Varma and the producer Rakesh Reddy have targeted TDP (Telugu Desam Party) and its Chief to damage their reputation ahead of the election.

Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV also confirmed the same via his post on Twitter, “Those from TDP party complaining to Election commission to STOP release of #LakshmisNTR because it might show the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister @ncbn in bad light should realise that no one can in hell can STOP TRUTH.”

Few weeks ago,  Ram Gopal Verma has taken digs at current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu through the movie when he released  “VenuPotu” song from Lakshmi’s NTR. A slew of complaints from Telugu Desam Party  workers followed, and it ended with Ram Gopal Varma filing complaints against the complainants.

According to Ram Gopal Varma, Lakshmi’s NTR is an honest portrayal of NTR’s life.

Recently Ram Gopal Varma has openly used the word backstabber to address Chandrababu Naidu in the promo of Lakshmi’s NTR. Now we have to wait and see  how the Election Commission will respond to its complaint.
