While, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest upcoming film “Paisa Vasool”, directed by Puri Jagannadh, is quite eagerly awaited by his fans and by the trade too, the shocking news is that the theatrical rights for the film are not fetching what the producers had hoped for. It was expected that his 101st film will be sold for a very good profit. As the action entertainer is made on a budget of Rs.40 Cr. The producers were hoping to sell the rights for at least around Rs.50 Cr. But it is heard that the makers are likely to lose around Rs.4.50 Cr on it. This is shocking development. It is not known if this is a result of Puri Jagannadh’s continuing bad run or if the film content has failed to impress the buyers.
The worry doesn’t stop there, now Paisa Vasool has to face censor hurdles as well. The Censor board seems to have objections with Balayya’s hand gesture in the movie which is considered obscene in real life. In short, the hand gesture denotes ‘I will **** you’. Talented film maker Puri Jagannadh made him use this gesture as a mannerism. Let’s wait and see how the makers of ‘Paisa Vasool’ deal with censor board to get a U/A certificate.
The audio launch event of Paisa Vassol will take place on 17th August in Khamman. The movie has Shriya Saran and Muskaan is female lead whereas Kyra Dutt will sizzle in item song. Paisa Vasool is gearing up for grand release on 1st September worldwide.
