Rana Daggubati, Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa starrer political thriller 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri', has collected double the combined revenues of Nithiin & Megha Akash’s LIE and Boyapati Srinu & Bellam Konda’s Jaya Janaki Nayaka films.
Released in 129 locations, Teja’s directorial venture has grossed $140,833 through premiers, despite being a political thriller. It is the first movie of Rana Daggubati after the release of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali:The Conclusion. It seems Balaladeva effect is still working on Rana to get such openings.
On the otherside, Nithiin’s whose previous offering A..Aa, crossed $2 Million mark at USA box office, has become fail to encash his craze due to poor promotions of his film. Lie has failed to get decent revenues through premiers. It has collected only $50,623 on Thursday. Usually, such type of stylish and intelligent thrillers loved by Overseas Audience but unfortunately, Lie failed to enthrall the audiences.
Director Boyapati Srinu who is popular for delivering blockbuster mass movies, disappointed the audiences with his latest offering Jaya Janaki Nayaka, the film is completely ignored by NRI’s audiences. It has collected just $8,535 through premiers.
