Popular cine actor-director ‘Real Star’ Upendra, whose films often espouse Bohemian political ideas, is now set to take a political plunge. In an audio clip circulated online, Upendra expressed his desire to launch what he called a “truly democratic party” where “money plays no role”.
The 13-minute audio explains as to why Toss actor Upendra decided to take the plunge into politics. He says like most of the electors he was also forced to choose a party which was a bit less bad among the others, every time while voting in the elections. His wife Priyanka has said to a news channel that Upendra would not be joining any existing party and prefers to float an independent party. Upendra has also confirmed the news by saying that he will start a political party without any ‘party fund’.
