A slew of Telugu movies these days have actors playing differently-abled characters or those suffering from rare disorders, both physiological and psychological. Recently Mass Maharaja Ravi  Teja was seen playing blind character in Raja The Great. Mass Maharaja  isn't the only actor who has chosen to do such a 'hatke' role, so to speak. Young and energetic actor Raj Tarun also played visually-impaired character in Andhhagadu , directed by Veligonda Srinivas.  In Kanupapa, the Telugu dubbed version of the Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal-starrer Oppam, has a blind elevator operator as the lead character. Now, another hero is all set to play blind protagonist in  forthcoming film.

Recently  the writer and film maker Kona Venkat announced an upcoming project, in which young actor Aadhi Pinsetty, who played versatile roles in ‘Sarrainodu’, ‘Ninnu Kori’ and is doing crucial roles in Ram Charan & Samanatha's ‘Rangasthalam 1985’ and Pawan Kalyan & Keerthy Suresh’s ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ is  going to play the lead role. Taapsee Pannu will play the  female lead in the film, which will be directed by Harinath. The sources say that Aadhi will be seen essaying a blind man in the film in this upcoming horror thriller. More details about the project will be revealed shortly.  The major part of the film will be shot in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.
