South Indian sensational star heroine Nayantara recently acted in a film Aramm, which opened to rave reviews from across the board. The film did well at Tamil Nadu and the actress has got a lot of appreciations for her performance. She played the role of Collector. She is one of the star heroines who is striking balance between the contented oriented and commercial oriented movies.

Recently during the media interaction producer Kotapadi J Rajesh of KJR Studios confirmed the news that we are planning for the sequel of  lady Superstar Nayantara’s hard hitting social drama Aramm. Aramm 2 will be much bigger and be dealing with a much stronger political issue. The shoot  for the sequel will be started from March 2018. Gopi Nainar will helm Aramm 2 and Nayantara will play the lead role.” The sources say that in Aramm 2,  Nayan will be seen entering into politics completely then becoming MLA and finally Chief Minister of the State.

The movie has already set a record opening in the Chennai city for a women-centric film in 2017 with a gross of Rs. 1.01 Cr for the three-day weekend, outperforming Jyotika’s Magalir Mattum which had grossed Rs. 94 lakhs.
