Nikhil Kumar (also known as Nikhil Gowda and Nikhil Kumaraswamy) who made his debut with Kannada-Telugu bilingual movie Jaguar in the direction of Mahadev, is currently busy in his upcoming epic war Kannada movie ‘Kurukshetra’. Now his look from this mythological film Kurikshetra has been revealed. He is essaying Abhimanyu in his second film, which is progressing at brisk pace in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad in the direction of Naganna.
Recently during the media interaction, Nikhil said, “I accepted this role only for producer Muniratna Naidu, I am in awe of his working style. I also like the way his team is handling this project.” He added, “We have been in talks for the past three months and we only accepted the role after four to five rounds of discussion. This is not an imaginary story, we will be presenting history to the audience.”
Darshan is playing Duryodhana in Kurukshetra. Besides Darshan, the film features an ensemble cast including Ambarish, V. Ravichandran, Arjun Sarja, Sneha, Lakshmi, Saikumar Pudipeddi, Sonu Sood, Srinivasa Murthy, Danish Akhtar Saifi, Shashikumar, Regina Cassandra, Hariprriya among others portraying many important characters of the Mahabharata. It has the music by V. Harikrishna and the makers are planning to release the film on 14th January 2018 on the occasion of Sankranthi.
