A 25-year-old inebriated fan of  Power Star  Pawan Kalyan died after consuming phenyl, mistaking it for soft drinks, in a theatre  on Wednesday. According to the sources,  Ramu, a resident of Shanavasapura village in Siruguppa taluk, had partied hard with his friends and later he went to Ballari to watch Pawan Kalyan’s 25th  film Agnyaathavaasi, directed by Trivikram Srinivas in which Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel are playing the female leads.

Ramu went to attend nature's call and found a cold drink bottle in the lavatory. He consumed it without knowing its actual content and collapsed  on the floor. The theater management immediately shifted him to VIMS  for treatment where he died in the night. Brucepet police have registered an FIR and investigation has been started.
