Tanya Hope had set the screen on fire with her cop act (as ACP Catherine) in Jagapathi Babu starrer Patel S.I.R. And now, according to the latest buzz, she is going to be seen in Ravi Teja's upcoming film which is going to be an official remake of the Tamil film Bogan that starred Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swami and Hansika, which was one of Kollywood’s most profitable ventures in 2016. She will be seen playing a crucial role which was reprised by Akshara Gowda in its original .The sources say that while the Mangalore girl has a few projects up her sleeve, this one could offer something interesting.
The Telugu version will also be directed by Lakshman again who had directed its original version. It’s Tamil film was produced by Prabhu Deva and Ganesh, while the Telugu version will be produced by Ram Talluri who made films like `Chuttalabbai’. The source shares, “The climax of the Telugu version will be tweaked and will be completely different from what was seen in Bogan.”
`Bogan’ is a super natural thriller that revolves around `transmigration’. Ravi Teja will be essaying the role of an honest cop, he encounters a baddy who is an exponent in switching souls. “The protoganist and antagonist will be switching souls to settle scores, that will be the most interesting factor and finally good triumphs over evil after a gripping drama,” source concludes. Ronit Roy who made his mark in Tollywood with Jr NTR starrer, 'Jai Lava Kusa' will be seen portraying the role of Aravind Swami in the thriller.
On the other side, currently Ravi Teja is busy in his two upcoming projects ‘Raja The Great’ and ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’, and Tanya Hope will also be seen in debutant director Jayshankarr’s Paper Boy, a production of Sampath Nandi.
