telangana minister's son held in assault case

On Thursday,  Hyderabad Police  arrested Telangana Excise and Prohibition Minister Padma Rao Goud's son Rameswar Goud and seven others. According to Inspector M. Mattaiah,  Mohit Rathor, a businessman at Pot Market in Secunderabad lodged complaint against  them and  they were  booked for assaulting and manhandling Mohit and his family. They were later released on bail.


The complainant alleged that Rameswar Goud and his friends used vulgar language, pelted stones on his shop, assaulted him and his family members. He also added that Rameshwar threatened him by saying that  how he will do business in the locality. The case has been registered under IPC sections 341, 323 and 505.
