Superstar Mahesh Babu was last seen in AR Murugadoss’s spy thriller drama ‘Spyder’, which was turned out commercially flop at the box office. Rakul Preet Singh played the female lead role. It is a spy thriller that has Mahesh Babu playing an intelligence officer. SPYder was produced by NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu under the banner NVR Cinemas LLP. SJ Suryah plays the antagonist. The movie was also opened to poor ratings on TV for first time screening. It was premiered on small screen during Sankranthi season and TV audiences have rejected it.
The ratings revealed that Spyder Premiere has got 6.7 TRP. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja & Mehreen Kaur Pirzada starrer Raja The Great scored a TRP of 17.7. Young Tiger Jr NTR, Raashi Khanna & Niveda Thomas starrer Jai Lava Kusa got 17.7 whereas Sharwanand starrer Mahanubhavudu Premiere got 8.3 TRP. On the otherside, Nirmala Convent starring Srikanth’s son in lead role got 8.1 TRP.
