Uncut and Extended Version of Prabhas and Anushka’s Baahubali 2 to release in JapanSS Rajamouli’s directorial ventures Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and its sequel, Baahubali: The Conclusion(2017), were released in Japan in 2017 on 8th  April and 29th December respectively. Both movies had different titles – the first one was called Baahubali: The Birth of a Legend, and the second, Baahubali: The Triumphant Return of the King.

Baahubali 2 starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah Bhatia, Sathyaraj, Nassar and Ramya Krishna, which was released in December, is running successfully to the packed theaters and now, the distributors in Japan are mulling over releasing the uncut, extended version of the film.  And the major reason behind it  Prabhas.

The original version has a 2 hours 50 minutes run time. Just like a lot of Indians fell in love with Prabhas after watching  Rajamouli’s historic and war drama, Japanese film lovers have been smitten by him too. He has become a sensation and his fan following in Japan is growing with each passing day.  Recently during the media interaction, Kishore Kedari, Business Head of Arka Media Works said, “Wherever the film releases, Young Rebel Star Prabhas becomes a sensation but he is trending in Japan in a big way. He is the Baahubali and people there find him absolutely adorable.”
