Unnao rape Case: CBI confirms BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar roleUnnao Gang Rape Case- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has reportedly confirmed rape charge against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar.

BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar raped her at his home in Uttar Pradesh’s Makhi village on  4th June 2017 while his female accomplice, Shashi Singh, stood guard outside the room and his associates proceeded to gang-rape the woman.

On  11th June,  the victim was again abducted by three youth named Shubham Singh, Awadh Narayan and Brijesh Yadav, and she was repeatedly gang-raped and kept inside an SUV over a period of eight to nine days. All these accused were arrested by the CBI who are now in judicial custody.

According to the report, the police did not name Kuldeep Singh Sengar  and some other accused in the FIR, even as the survivor mentioned their involvement several times.

The Unnao rape case incident came to light after the victim and her family tried to set themselves ablaze outside  uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s home.

After the interrogation of  17-hour and  facing flak from the court, Kuldeep Singh Sengar was finally arrested by the CBI on 13th April. And later, Kuldeep Singh Sengar’s Y security was removed.

The Vitim said,  “I demand death penalty for BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar for raping me and murdering my father”.

Kuldeep Singh Sengar is also accused of conspiring to kill the victim’s father, who died in police custody after being allegedly thrashed by Kuldeep Sing Sengar’s brother and his aides. Presenty Kuldeep Singh Sengar  is lodged in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur jail.
