Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Raja The Great promises everything that you would have expected from the star’s film. In Raja The Great, Ravi Teja is playing a character with quirk- a visually challenged, for the first time in his career, has Mehreen Kaur Pirzada as its female lead. The film also stars Radhika Sarathkumar who plays Ravi Teja’s mother. It is being helmed by Pataas fame Anil Ravipudi and the film is said to have all the essential ingredients of a typical pot-boiler with commercial elements along with a unique characterization and way of story telling. The movie revolves around a blind Kabbadi player who is also a fiery man. The shooting is undergoing at a breakneck speed in around and Hyderabad and the sources close to the film unit reveal that leading producer Dil Raju is planning to release his big-ticket film on 13th October.
With the music renditions by S S Thaman, who scored hit tracks for the actor's 'Kick' and 'Kick 2' earlier, Raja The Great's post-production works have also started. After a dud like ‘Bengal Tiger’, the lanky star is pinning hopes on this Dil Raju’s production venture to revive his winning habit.
On the other side, Ravi Teja is also busy in ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ in the direction of Vikram Srikonda, which is bankrolled by Nallamalupu Bujji and Vallabhaneni Vamsy under Lakshmi Narsimha Productions banner. The sources say that actually ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ was supposed to be released first, but Ravi Teja preferred ‘Raja The Great’ since it has enough potential to strike a chord with the masses.
