Vijay Devarakonda creates record at RTC X RoadsVijay Devarakonda is currently enjoying the success of his recently released romantic and comedy entertainer Geetha Govindam, which was released o n 15th August 2018, on the occasion of Independence day and still running successfully at the box office.  The movie in which Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead role, has turned out blockbuster at the box office. According to the traders report, Vijay Devarakonda starrer Geetha Govindam has created records as it has crossed Rs 1 Cr (Gross) at Sandhya 35mm of RTC X Roads on its 45th day. Till date, only 39 movies have achieved this rare feat.

 Geetha Govindam is helmed by Parasuram and produced by Bunny Vas under the banner of GA2 Pictures whereas the movie is presented by Allu Aravind. The film has the music by Gopi Sundar. Vijay Devarakonda played the role of Vijay Govind wherea Rashmika Mandanna essayed Geetha. Apart from the lead pair, Geetha Govindam has other stars like Subbaraju, Mouryani, Rahul Ramakrishna, Vennela Kishore, Nithya Menen, Anu Emmanuel, Naga Babu, Annapoorna, Giri Babu, Kalyani Natarajan, Aneesha dama, Abhay Bethiganti, Ravi Prakash and others in supporting roles.

After the successful movie Geetha Govindam, Vijay Deverakonda has earned the ‘commercial hero’ tag. The success of the film  has brought him closer to the family audience and the actor continues to surprise his followers with his interesting choice of  the movies.

Meanwhile Vijay Devarakonda is waiting for the release of his next upcoming bilingual Tamil-Telugu drama NOTA, which is slated to hit the theaters on 5th October. Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is playing the female lead and Arjun Reddy star Vijay Devarakonda will be seen playing a politician.  The Tamil version of NOTA has completed the censor formalities and received ‘U’ certificate.  This news is confirmed by Vijay Devarakonda himself via his tweet, “We go U Even I voted A. Let’s see what my favourite Telugu Censorboard will give me #MaranaWaiting.”
