Vijay Devarakonda and Sai Pallavi are teaming up for an upcoming movie titled Virata Parvam 1992.
If ongoing buzz in media and film Industry are to be believed, Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Devarakonda and Premam beauty Sai Pallavi are going to team up for an upcoming romantic entertainer, which will be helmed by Venu Udugula. The sources close to Vijay Devarakonda and Sai Pallavi said that both the stars had agreed to become the part of Venu Udugula’s directorial venture, which is titled as Virata Parvam 1992.
Venu Udugula, who has earned immense critical acclaim with his debut film Needi Naadi Oke Katha, is going to helm this big budget film, set in the rural backdrop of Telangana.. The sources close to Venu Udugual said, “Virata Parvam 1992 is an emotion-packed intense period love story which is layered with socio-political commentary.”
The makers are planning to shoot the major part of the film in Guntur and several other popular cities of Telangana. It is heard Virata Parvam 1992 will present Sai Pallavi in an altogether different avatar as a woman living in a rural area in the 90s. The upcoming venture will be bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri. Earlier it was heard that Venu Udugula is planning to bring young actor Sharwanand on the board to play the lead role but now sources say that recently the makers narrated the script to Vijay Devarakonda and he has given his nod. The official confirmation is awaited regarding it.
Meanwhile Sai Pallavi who made her debut in Tollywood with Varun Tej starrer Fidaa, is currently romancing with Sharwanand in Padi Padi Leche Manasu. Sai Pallavi was last seen in woman centric movie Diya/Kanam, which was average at the box office.
On the otherside, Vijay Devarakonda was last seen in Nag Ashwin’s Mahanati- the biopic of Savitri, where he essayed the role of Anthony. Currently Dwaraka star Vijay Devarakonda is waiting for the release of his upcoming movies Taxiwala and Geetha Govindham, which are in post production stages.
