Vishal Krishna who is enjoying the success of his recent offering – the cyber thriller Abhimanyudu/Irumbu Thirai, has bought the rights of Telugu blockbuster movie Temper, helmed by Puri Jagannadh in which Young Tiger Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal played the lead role. Recently during the media interaction, Kollywood star Vishal opened up about the reason behind to make the remake of Temper in Kollywood. He said, “Temper deals with the theme of a child rape. I feel that it is very important for actor to use the support of audience to raise such type of social issues through and beyond entertainment.”
The Tamil version of Temper remake will be helmed by PS Mithran, who also directed Vishal’s previous offering Irumbu Thirai. The makers are planning to make few changes in the script of Temper according to the taste of Tamil audiences. Vishal also added, “Our Tamil version of Temper remake will be completely different from original.” If everything will go accordingly, Vishal will be seen reprising the role of Jr NTR in this Temper remake and will make his screen presence as corrupt, hot-headed cop. But who will play the love interest of Vishal in this remake, is not yet decided.
On the otherside, in Bollywood, Temper remake, which has been titled as Simmba, is being directed by action specialist Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar. Sara Ali Khan has been roped to play the female lead. Ranveer Singh who was seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat is reprising the character of Jr NTR. It will also be interesting to see what the duo Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar, who are pairing up for the first time, have in store for audience. The shoot of Temper remake Simmba has been already started in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
On the otherside, Vishal is busy in his upcoming projects – Sandakozhi 2 and Madha Gaja Raja, which are in different production stage.
