Samantha Akkineni is currently waiting for the release of her upcoming film Super Deluxe. This year, Samantha has delivered number of hit movies (Rangasthalam, Mahanati and Abhimanyudu) and impressed her fans and movie lovers. Though her recent offering U Turn, the bilingual murder mystery drama was just average at the box office but her performance received lot of applause. On the otherside, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and King Nagarjuna disappointed the audiences this year. After his wedding, Naga Chaitanya did not deliver any hit movie. His last year released movie Yuddham Sharanam received negative reviews from both critics and audience on its opening day. This year Naga Chaitanya came up with Shailaja Reddy Alludu, which left losses for buyers in various areas and his recent offering Savyasachi is also turning out commercially flop at the box office. Samantha Akkineni also promoted her hubby Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s movies Shailaja Reddy Alludu, and Savyasachi on her Twitter but it did not help.
Currently Naga Chaitanya is working with his wife Samantha Akkineni for his next upcoming film Majili, where both are playing the married couple. Now we have to wait and watch whether Samantha will help Naga Chaitanya to revive his career. Majili is being directed by ‘Ninnu Kori’ fame Shiva Nirvana. Recently during the media interaction, Naga Chaitanya said, “In Majili, We appear as Husband and Wife. We quarrel a lot as part of the script. In real life, We aren’t like that.”
It is known news that Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV’s Officer was rejected by the audiences on its opening day and later Nagarjuna came up with multistarrer Devadas where he shared the screen space with Natural Star Nani but unfortunately the movie was turned out flop at the box office.
After their marriage, this is the first time when Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are sharing the screen space for a movie.
