YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy calls for Bandh on 24th JulyYSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy called for a bandh in Andhra Pradesh on 24th July.

YSRCP president and state Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said in a press meet in Kakinada, the YSRCP is giving the state band call in protest against the state and central government’s indifference attitude to do justice to Andhra Pradesh. He pointed out even Congress president Mr. Rahul Gandhi had not mentioned the demand in Parliament during Friday’s debate on the no-confidence motion.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his displeasure over the manner in which the no-confidence motion held in the Lok Sabha yesterday. He sought the support of all the political parties and groups in Andhra Pradesh to extend their support for the bandh on 24th July 2018 Tuesday. Jagan Mohan Reddy said time had now come to exert pressure on the Centre to grant us Special Category Status at any cost.

Andhra Pradesh CM and TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu has also expressed his disappointment after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government sailed through the No-Confidence Motion in the Lok Sabha. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu said “I am coming to Delhi on 21st July. Sentiments of 5 Cr people of Andhra Pradesh are hurt.  BJP has betrayed us yet again.” He has vented his anger on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his response on the fulfillment of AP Re-organization Act 2014 provisions.

Chandrababu Naidu asked the people to organize protest demonstrations across the State on 21st July in protest against the PM Narendra Modi’s failure in giving assurance to Andhra Pradesh to do Justice.  CM Chandrababu Naidu also asked where were YSRCP leaders when the state rocked with no confidence motion vibrations.
