Natural Star Nani, Sudheer Babu, Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari starrer V completed one year of its theatrical release as the movie was released on 5th September 2020. The film also had Vennela Kishore and Tanikella Bharani in supporting roles. The action thriller drama V marked Nani’s 25th film as a lead actor, in which he played an antihero for the first time in his career. It was all about the story of a decorated police officer who tried to hunt down a serial killer.
V is directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti and produced by noted producer Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film had the music by S. Thaman, with the soundtrack album composed by Amit Trivedi. The cinematography is handled by PG Vinda and editing was done by Marthand K Venkatesh.
Nani and Mohana Krishna Indraganti’ film was released on Amazon Prime Video on 5th September 2020, and it became the first mainstream Telugu film to have a digital release. V was also the most watched Telugu film on a streaming platform in 2020.
On the otherside, currently Nani is waiting for the release of Tuck Jagadish which is helmed by Shiva Nirvana and the film has Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh in the female lead roles.
